Great location and friendly staff
I had a lovely stay in Matlock, where the staff truly went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. The room was filled with character, and the cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. it would be beneficial if the breakfast options were available included by default rather than at an extra charge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly making memories at the nearby adventure playground with climbing tunnels that kept the kids entertained for hours. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our family room with its separate kids' area was a real bonus for us.
In my wife's opinion, the early dining hours were a real drag for families. We wished the breakfast hours were extended beyond 8:45 am for a more relaxed start to the day.

Charming Stay in the Peak District
Enjoyed a lovely evening here! The four-poster bed added a touch of romance, and the staff's friendliness made our stay feel special. Dine in the pub for good value meals, especially the delightful '2 for £12' offer. A solid choice for exploring the area!
